Must:
I require candidates to be confident in using small screwdrivers and other tools, possess a basic understanding of product functionality, and have an interest in electrical repair. Knowledge of hardware recognition is essential, as well as the ability to use Windows applications effectively. Excellent attention to detail is crucial, and candidates must demonstrate creative problem-solving skills. Basic computer skills, including the use of databases, are necessary. We value dedication and the ability to follow established processes. Additionally, strong manual dexterity is important.
Responsibilities
In this role, I expect you to test and fault diagnose units thoroughly. You will disassemble and assemble units, ensuring that repairs are conducted in accordance with established procedures. Daily and weekly key performance indicators (KPIs) must be met while performing repairs. You will utilize a PC diagnostic system to conduct basic diagnosing evaluations and verify test results. Proficiency in using Windows applications to obtain test software and create tools based on provided instructions is required. You will read technical documentation, handle part fitting, and conduct final quality control of multi-vendor brands. Understanding the teardown process and spare part retention is key, as is the ability to diagnose all laptops and complex faults, including software issues. You will also be responsible for repairing all laptop modules and utilizing your soldering skills effectively.
