Requirements

Must:
We are looking for candidates with IT experience, particularly within a support environment, ideally from a Managed Service Provider (MSP). You should possess strong skills in Windows Server (including Hyper V, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS), have significant experience with PCs, and familiarity with both Windows and OSX operating systems. Additionally, you should be knowledgeable in router, switch, and firewall configuration, as well as have a good understanding of hardware. Excellent knowledge of IP and TCP/IP networking is preferred, along with a strong customer service background. A full driving license is also required.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be working with a team of 9 people, handling a mixture of helpdesk calls. Your responsibilities will include resolving IT issues over the phone and by remotely accessing clients' sites. We expect you to have an excellent telephone manner, patience, and effective troubleshooting techniques to provide the best support to our clients.

We are a Microsoft Certified MSP, providing IT support, installations, VoIP phone systems, Office 365 cloud services, hosted servers, cloud backup, and photocopiers to over 350 customers throughout the West Midlands from our base in Solihull. Having experienced rapid growth over the past 5 years, we now have a team of 30 and plan to expand further in the coming year. The job involves a mix of home working and office-based work; typically, you will spend 2 days in the office and work from home for the remainder of the week once your probation is completed. All our staff are either Microsoft, 3CX, and Watchguard certified or are on their way to certification, and we actively encourage and cover the costs associated with this professional development.
