We seek candidates who are experienced in HPC cluster management and scheduling tools such as Slurm, PBS, or Grid Engine. A strong foundation in Linux system administration and shell scripting is essential. You should have expertise in performance tuning for large-scale compute systems and a solid understanding of parallel computing concepts like MPI and OpenMP. Familiarity with networking protocols and HPC storage solutions is also required.
Desirable skills include experience with Cloud HPC platforms (AWS ParallelCluster, Azure Batch), proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++, knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker or Singularity, and an understanding of machine learning workflows in an HPC environment.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing HPC clusters. You will work on optimizing these systems for maximum performance and resource utilization. Troubleshooting HPC systems and tools will be a key part of your duties, as well as collaborating with developers to ensure seamless software integration. It’s important for you to stay up-to-date with emerging HPC technologies and best practices, while also conducting routine maintenance, updates, and capacity planning.
