Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience with VMware technologies
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows virtual environments
- Experience in virtual infrastructure modernization
- Ability to provide operational support for virtual environments
- Familiarity with hybrid deployment models
- Relevant certifications in VMware or cloud technologies preferred
Responsibilities
- Support the virtual infrastructure modernisation initiatives
- Manage and provision Linux and Windows virtual environments
- Provide operational support for ongoing virtual infrastructure
- Collaborate with the IT team to enhance system performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to virtual environments
- Maintain documentation for systems and processes
Description
We are seeking a Senior VMware Engineer to join our team in Manchester, with options for remote work in a hybrid model. This role is critical in supporting our higher education clients virtual infrastructure transformation efforts.
