Requirements
Must:
As a Ruby Developer, you will possess the following:
- Extensive, high-level experience of Ruby-based digital development, with a demonstrable portfolio of work.
- Extensive experience of working with standard Ruby-based development software and workflows, including Gitlab.
- In-depth technical experience of development on digital infrastructure, including the Typecase and Typecase for Courses content management systems, or equivalent experience with similar Ruby-based content management systems.
- A formal qualification in Ruby-based digital development is advantageous, but not essential.
- Ability to get up to speed with complex systems and infrastructure quickly and efficiently.
- Proven ability to take the lead on digital development tasks.
- Experience of advising on technical strategy and infrastructure.
- Experienced working in Agile development teams.
- Experience of working with Jira or similar project management software.
Responsibilities
We require a Ruby Developer to join our higher education client as part of a small and highly productive development team. You will provide project-based digital development and consultancy within the client's bespoke Ruby-based technical environment. This includes working with Typecase and Typecase for Courses, ensuring that our client's systems run smoothly and efficiently.
Description
The duration of this role is 9 months, with a rate of £500 - £600 per day. This position is remote and classified as inside IR35. We are looking to start ASAP. At Certes Computing, and all of our subsidiary companies, we are committed to promoting equality and diversity in our business operations.
