Requirements

Responsibilities
- Develop a C++ HMI application on a Linux Operating System.
- Undertake a full range of engineering activities aligned with relevant processes, quality standards, and other requirements.
- Establish collaborative relationships with team members within the software organization and other departments.
- Provide support to fellow engineers within the team.
Description
We are a world-class defence organization based in Bristol, currently looking to recruit three subcontractors for C++ Software Engineer roles, with an initial 12-month contract and the likelihood of extension. The role will require you to be onsite four days per week, from Monday to Thursday. The rate for this position is £65.00 per hour, with an overtime rate of 'time and a quarter' for hours worked over the standard 37 hours per week. This position falls inside IR35 (Umbrella) and will predominantly involve working on the future laser defence capability for the Royal Navy. Our HMI & Cyber team is dedicated to developing innovative solutions, and we value engineers who are not only skilled in their field but also willing to support and mentor their peers. The interview process will consist of a one-stage video interview.
