Requirements
Must:
- Experience in database management within mission-critical systems environment
- Proficient in Oracle database administration
- Knowledge of RHEL, Solaris, Windows 2012, Windows 2022, and Windows 10
- Strong understanding of change management procedures
- Ability to diagnose and rectify system failures
- Experience with routine data backup and archiving activities
- Familiarity with database change control documentation
Responsibilities
- Oversee database maintenance and updates
- Perform database maintenance and update activities
- Implement database changes as requested
- Release new databases on the system
- Maintain database change control documentation
- Perform routine data and software backup and archiving activities
- Execute routine system maintenance and housekeeping activities
- Diagnose and rectify system failures
- Re-start subsystems to recover from failures
- Support the Software Manager in system, software and database configuration management activities
