Requirements
Must:
- Expert knowledge of authoring and troubleshooting SQL, Azure, and Databricks queries.
- Expert understanding and application of data modeling, source data procurement strategies (Database, import/cached), security configuration, performance tuning, and integration of advanced analytics.
- Knowledge of current trends in tools and technology.
- Understanding of Gas and Power Trading, including short-term trading and physical assets trading (CCGT, Wind, Solar, Battery).
- Familiarity with risk modeling and risk management concepts.
- Experience with commodity modeling in energy (power, gas, environmental products) and meteorology.
- Proficiency in at least one secondary visualization tool such as Power BI with Azure Analysis Services, Spotfire, or SAP Analytics Cloud.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and implement Proofs of Concept (POCs), prototypes, and comprehensive UX solutions and strategies.
- Communicate with key stakeholders to clarify requirements and promote effective UX designs and solutions.
- Utilize expert knowledge in QlikSense and Qlik Cloud Analytics to deliver fast-moving datasets to high-value trading teams.
- Analyze user journeys to support design efforts and drive simplification and automation.
- Enable high-quality storytelling by creating strong and easily understandable data visualizations.
- Document technical solution design and strategic documentation.
- Conduct quality assessments of counterpart designs.
- Adhere to the organization’s release and change processes.
