Requirements
Must:
- Experience in Digital Signal Processing
- Proficiency in the C Programming Language
- Familiarity with testing software products for ARM-based multi-core processing platforms
- Knowledge of communications protocols (e.g. SPI, UART, Ethernet, PCI-Express)
- Experience with DOORS
- Proficient in test tools and techniques in both host and target environments
- Experience with test tools such as LDRA or equivalent for host testing
- Understanding of model-based development, either in SysML/UML
- Knowledge of Real-Time Operating Systems such as PikeOS or FreeRTOS
- Understanding of real-time embedded data handling mechanisms such as DMA, interrupts, and shared memory
- Exposure to wireless modulation or waveform processing concepts (desirable)
- Experience with FPGA or SDR-based embedded systems (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Develop, integrate, and test embedded software
- Produce test requirements and test scripts for unit, subsystem, and system level testing on both host and target platforms
- Run tests, analyze results, and utilize target test facilities such as debuggers, probes, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes
- Conduct documentation and design work in UML
- Integrate software components with ARM multi-core platforms, FPGA subsystems, and RF transceiver interfaces
- Support real-time TX/RX data processing, buffering, and performance optimization on embedded targets
- Contribute to system integration and verification of Software Defined Radio (SDR) datalink capability
