Requirements
Must:
I am seeking a 3D Designer with excellent 3D design experience gained in both agency and corporate settings. You should have demonstrable experience in delivering design solutions across multiple product lines in a 3D context. A sensitivity to form and function is essential, along with knowledge of production, manufacturing, and material processes. Strong proficiency in digital modeling software such as Alias, Blender, and Rhino is required. Additionally, real-time rendering capability in Keyshot or a similar program is necessary, and experience with Unreal Engine is preferable. You must possess strong stakeholder management skills and be comfortable working across different cultures, geographies, and time zones.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary designers and vehicle designers to creatively translate brand design content into 3D solutions. You will be responsible for creating and implementing 3D design solutions across multiple physical objects that coherently support our brand vision and position. You should be capable of taking rough concepts through detailed development into tangible and feasible solutions and effectively manage stakeholders across interdependent design functions.
Description
This is a contract position based in Coventry, lasting until March 2026, with the likelihood of extension. We are working on behalf of a globally recognized automotive company to find a talented 3D Designer who can contribute to various design aspects, including vehicle detail design, off-vehicle EV infrastructure, furniture and equipment, as well as collections and accessories.
