Requirements
Must:
- Substantial experience in supply chain planning and forecasting, demonstrating a track record of delivering measurable business improvements.
- Confident practical expertise with SAP planning technologies such as IBP, APO, or PP/DS for solving complex forecasting and inventory challenges.
- Deep knowledge of planning master data, including structures, hierarchies, and data-quality foundations necessary to ensure smooth planning engine operations.
- Understanding of planning integration across the wider SAP landscape, including MM, SD, FI/CO, and execution platforms like EWM.
- Evidence of improving forecast accuracy, plan adherence, or inventory performance, with the ability to translate insight into impactful outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Own the SAP capabilities that drive planning, forecasting, and inventory optimisation across the Supply Chain Transformation programme.
- Ensure the SCT programme meets ambitious delivery timelines by providing early leadership to maintain delivery momentum.
- Partner closely with operational SMEs, Unipart, and The Config Team to facilitate fast decision-making and high-quality delivery.
- Secure seamless interoperability with connected systems, ensuring cohesive functionality from day one.
- Reduce external dependency and prevent costly rework to establish a scalable, stable, future-ready platform.
