Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
- Solid communication skills, including verbal, written, and active listening.
- Strong understanding of Channel sales.
- Familiarity with sales cycles, pipeline management, and sales forecasting.
- Understanding of commercials to maintain and grow revenue in line with assigned targets.
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective long-term relationships.
- Capacity to work effectively and multitask in a busy, fast-paced office environment.
- Excellent customer service skills to support clients efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills to manage workload without constant supervision.
- Proficiency in utilizing CRM tools to maintain client records, monitor performance, and identify opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate and balance individual workloads through time management and prioritization.
- A self-starter who uses initiative to drive results independently and thrives in a client-focused environment.
The successful candidate must also have:
- 1-5 years of experience in Channel Management roles, or
- 3-7 years of relevant sales experience working for a Channel partner.
Responsibilities
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining long-term strategic relationships with key Channel partners.
- Identifying target channel partners that align with our growth strategy.
- Acquiring new channel partners and building mutually beneficial relationships.
- Conducting quarterly business reviews with your assigned channel base to nurture existing client relationships and ensure service satisfaction.
- Monitoring performance against growth targets.
- Driving inbound leads from channel partners.
- Assisting our Sales team with progressing live opportunities within partner accounts.
- Connecting our sales representatives to appropriate partner sales teams.
- Positioning our company to attend and/or sponsor partner and channel events.
- Attending partner and industry events.
- Regularly visiting partner office locations (up to 2-3 days per week).
- Coordinating and undertaking channel enablement activities.
- Collaborating with marketing on channel marketing initiatives.
- Achieving individual KPIs and meeting revenue growth and margin targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Developing and adapting partner programs to benefit both our company and channel partner objectives.
- Collaborating with the Account Management team to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing channel customers.
- Maintaining a broad understanding of key technology areas and illustrating business advantages through technology investment and ROI models.
- Keeping accurate and up-to-date records in our CRM system.
- Staying current on cloud and data solution technologies and industry trends to provide informed recommendations to clients.

Operating our own private cloud infrastructure, we protect over 12PB of data across five geographically diverse data center locations in the UK. Our tailored solutions ensure business continuity and guarantee data sovereignty for on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. This role of Channel Manager for Cloud & Data Solutions is key to our go-to-market strategy and will require a significant amount of travel within the UK to visit partner office locations. Additionally, there will be a mixture of working from our head office in Chesterfield and remote work.
