Must:
We are looking for a proven Shopify Developer, ideally with experience in an agency environment. You should possess strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid, along with experience in third-party integrations and APIs. A solid understanding of replatforming and migration best practices is essential, as well as an awareness of technical SEO principles, with full SEO support available in-house. We value strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, along with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Clear communication skills with both clients and colleagues are important, as is your ambition to build and develop a future Shopify team.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead on Shopify development projects from start to finish. You will maintain, optimize, and improve existing client Shopify stores, as well as build and launch new Shopify websites. Managing system integrations such as HubSpot, Salesforce, and fulfillment platforms will be part of your responsibilities. You will support replatforming and migration projects and collaborate with our design, UX, SEO, and Ads teams to deliver high-performing websites. Staying updated with Shopify updates, apps, and best practices is key, and you will provide technical recommendations and solutions to both clients and colleagues.

We are a fast-growing North East Search Marketing & Web Development agency, and we are excited to invite a talented Mid-Senior Shopify Developer to our team. This position is based in our North East office with a flexible 1-2 days a week in-office requirement, offering a salary of up to £43,000 depending on experience. You will report directly to the Senior Leadership Team and take ownership of all Shopify development work while helping us shape and grow a brand-new department. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in an ambitious agency that supports a diverse range of clients, from start-ups to established multi-million-pound brands.
