Must:
We are seeking a proactive IT Service Desk Team Leader with a strong background in IT service or delivery roles. We require demonstrated experience in engaging a range of stakeholders, including team leads, department heads, and senior colleagues. You should possess excellent service reporting skills, along with advanced administrative proficiency in the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). A data-informed approach is essential; you should be skilled in working with both qualitative and quantitative data to draw meaningful insights from feedback, service metrics, and system data. Proficiency in designing and interpreting reports and visual dashboards using tools such as Power BI is also necessary. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must, as is a genuine interest in improving how people experience technology in their daily work. You should have the confidence to work independently, manage your time effectively, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. A collaborative mindset and the ability to work across teams with sensitivity and professionalism are critical. Experience using IT service management platforms for reporting, tracking service performance, and managing user interactions, along with a minimum ITIL v4 Foundation certification, is required.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will act as the key point of contact between our IT team and internal stakeholders, building trusted working relationships with colleagues at all levels, including senior leadership. You will identify patterns in colleague feedback and technology pain points, using data and insights to inform priorities for service improvement. You will work closely with IT service managers to interpret performance trends and user sentiment, supporting strategic decisions with well-evidenced reporting. Coordinating and delivering structured management information and dashboards will be part of your responsibilities, ensuring that reporting is timely, accurate, and aligned with stakeholder expectations. You will also support the introduction and tracking of user-focused service measures, including experience-based indicators. Creating clear, user-friendly communications will be essential to make our IT services understandable and relevant for non-technical colleagues. Furthermore, you will actively promote a collaborative and respectful IT culture that centers around user needs, feedback, and empowerment. It will be crucial to take the time to understand the daily working realities across different teams to ensure alignment between service delivery and real-world organizational requirements.
