Requirements

Must:
- Experience with Electronic Point of Sale (EPoS) installations, preferably in the Retail or Hospitality sectors. - Familiarity with Cat5e/Cat6 data cabling and IT equipment configuration. - Proficient in using and setting up IT systems; computer literate with strong documentation accuracy. - Proactive, reliable, and able to remain calm under pressure, taking ownership to get the job done. - Excellent communication skills, able to work well with engineers and clients in a clear and professional manner. - Strong multitasking and time management abilities. - Full UK driving license and willingness to travel, including occasional overnight stays.

Responsibilities

- Travel daily to customer sites in the Hospitality & Retail sectors to install, refurbish, and maintain IT equipment, including tills, Chip & PIN devices, tablets, digital signage, media screens, kitchen systems, Wi-Fi, and structured cabling. - Carry out swap-outs, repairs, and support work while ensuring that all processes and customer requirements are accurately followed. - Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, explain technical issues, and follow escalation protocols when necessary. - Install and terminate network cabling on patch panels and modules as needed. - Conduct surveys, audits, and research to support installations and project delivery. - Assist colleagues in the field and at HQ while maintaining high-quality standards. - Adhere to all health & safety policies and on-site procedures during every task.
