We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in IT software procurement, particularly focused on cloud services on a global scale. A strong understanding of cloud licensing models, such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, and Salesforce, is essential. The ideal candidate will have experience with data security and regulatory compliance within procurement agreements, exceptional commercial acumen, and the ability to drive value through strategic sourcing. High emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills are required to influence and build relationships across a matrix organization, along with exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously. The ability to work collaboratively as a team player in cross-functional environments, and experience in drafting and negotiating complex contracts with major global software vendors is also necessary.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead the procurement and commercial negotiation of global cloud software agreements, encompassing SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS. You will drive the consolidation of cloud and software services across the business to reduce complexity and cost. Your responsibilities will include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating supplier agreements for software and cloud services while ensuring alignment with data security and compliance requirements. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT, Legal, InfoSec, and Finance, to align procurement activities with our strategic objectives. Additionally, you will monitor and manage vendor performance, ensuring that service delivery aligns with contractual obligations. Conducting market analysis and benchmarking to secure competitive pricing and innovation in sourcing will also be key to your role, as will supporting software license audits to ensure ongoing compliance with vendor terms.
Description
This is a hybrid position, requiring three days per week in our Berkshire office, providing a balance between collaboration and flexibility. We offer a competitive salary package ranging from £70,000 to £85,000 depending on your experience, along with a 20% bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
