We are looking for candidates with a proven track record as a Senior Business Analyst within the insurance sector, ideally in the London Market or reinsurance. A strong understanding of broker workflows, placement processes, and market systems is essential. We expect expertise in process mapping, requirements gathering, and business process optimization. Experience with RAID management and structured project governance is required, as well as knowledge of regulatory and operational frameworks, such as Solvency II, IFRS 17, and Lloyd's requirements. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills are crucial for engaging confidently with brokers, underwriters, and senior leaders.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will lead business analysis efforts across insurance transformation initiatives, focusing on broker and underwriting workflows. I will map and optimize end-to-end processes across broking, placement, underwriting, and claims. I will own and maintain RAID logs, ensuring that risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies are actively managed. I will facilitate workshops with brokers, underwriters, actuaries, finance, and operations teams to capture requirements and build consensus. Additionally, I will translate broker and business needs into clear, actionable requirements for technology and operations. Supporting UAT, data migration, and the adoption of new systems and processes will also be part of my responsibilities. I will act as a senior advisor within the Business Analyst community, mentoring colleagues and ensuring best-practice delivery.
