Requirements
Must:
- Several years of hands-on experience in Problem Management within IT.
- Strong Major Incident Management experience dealing with high-stakes outages.
- ITIL 4 Foundation certification is essential.
- ITIL 4 Problem or Incident Management certifications are advantageous.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to break down complex technical issues.
- Confident communication skills for translating technical concepts into clear actions for various stakeholders.
- Experience with ServiceNow for Problem Management is a strong bonus.
Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of Problem Management, ensuring issues are analyzed, resolved, and prevented from recurring.
- Handle major incidents confidently by coordinating teams and keeping stakeholders informed.
- Mentor Major Incident Managers and conduct Major Incident Reviews.
- Contribute to the Enterprise Service Management strategy, aligning Problem Management with the companys transformation initiatives.
- Drive proactive problem detection through trend analysis and collaboration with technical teams.
- Own and maintain the Known Error Database (KEDB) and support knowledge sharing across the organization.
- Facilitate root cause analysis sessions and ensure effective documentation.
- Produce KPI reports showcasing the value of strong Problem Management.
- Continuously push for improvement across processes, tools, and methods of working.
