Requirements
Must:
- Experience in an Infrastructure or Systems Engineer role (ideally within an MSP or multi-client environment)
- Strong experience with Windows Server and core infrastructure services
- Experience with Linux systems
- Hands-on experience with virtualisation technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V or Proxmox
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including VLANs, routing, switching, VPNs and firewalls
- Experience delivering and supporting LAN, WAN and wireless solutions
- Strong Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP knowledge
- A valid UK driving licence
Responsibilities
- Support and deliver infrastructure across on-prem, hybrid and cloud estates
- Involved in advanced troubleshooting to project delivery, migrations, upgrades and security improvements
- Provide escalation support across servers, networks, virtualisation and cloud
- Drive technical improvements and contribute to consultancy work
- Manage meaningful ownership of tasks and projects across diverse clients
Description
We are a well-established Managed Service Provider located in Glasgow, and we are looking for an experienced Network & Infrastructure Engineer to join our Technical Services team in a hybrid work environment. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced MSP setting where no two days are the same. We offer a competitive salary of up to £45,000, quarterly bonus opportunities, 22 days holiday plus 9 statutory holidays, hybrid working after probation, private healthcare, and other great benefits.
