We are looking for a passionate, technically adept Infrastructure Engineer with a solid understanding of private, public, and hybrid cloud technology. You should enjoy working independently and solving problems at scale. An interest in infrastructure and the ability to work collaboratively with a small, skilled team is essential.
Responsibilities
As an Infrastructure Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing and optimizing private cloud environments to ensure consistent reliability and performance.
- Responding to alerts and incidents quickly, collaborating closely with colleagues and datacentre partners.
- Investigating and resolving technical issues, escalating only when necessary.
- Planning and delivering infrastructure upgrades, enhancements, and cloud migrations.
- Managing day-to-day tasks such as patching, monitoring, capacity planning, and backups.
- Running regular disaster recovery tests.
- Enforcing security best practices and compliance standards.
- Identifying risks early and implementing measures to prevent downtime.
