Requirements
Must:
- Experience with Microsoft tech-stack development and software security.
- Strong .NET skills, with relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CSSLP.
- Demonstrable background as a Systems Administrator or Software Developer, or both.
- Expert knowledge of cloud software security (not networking or infrastructure).
- Passion for software security and DevSecOps, with familiarity in tools like Terraform, Bicep, SonarCloud, Wiz, and security products like Trivy.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud computing platforms.
- A strong understanding of software development methodologies and practices.
- Ability to conduct rapid risk assessments and threat modeling.
- Technical skills in Azure Security Monitoring, including Application Insights and SIEM.
- Excellent communication skills to ensure stakeholder alignment and successful outcomes throughout product delivery and ongoing support.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the software security function within our cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with developers to integrate security into their daily workflows, ensuring that security is prioritized without compromising quality.
- Work hands-on in a consultancy capacity, fostering trust and effective communication with development teams.
- Identify opportunities for growth within the software security function as the company matures.
- Continuously seek to automate, streamline, and improve security processes.
Description
