Finance Business Analyst

- I am seeking an experienced finance Business Analyst with a transactional systems background or a qualified accountant who has a strong aptitude for finance systems. - I require candidates to have experience in a similar role. - A solid understanding of accounting principles and group structures is essential. - Good IT skills are important, including experience with MS Project and/or Visio for creating Gantt charts, flowcharts, and process mapping. - Excellent communication skills are necessary, as the role involves presenting to senior stakeholders. - A good knowledge of law firm finance systems is preferred, ideally with experience in Elite 3E and Chrome River. - Competence in understanding legal IT is required. - I look for strong fact-finding and investigation skills, particularly concerning project issues. - Problem-solving skills with a focus on creative and pragmatic solutions are essential. - Flexibility to handle multiple projects simultaneously in an environment with shifting priorities is important. - An aptitude for learning and using financial and management information systems is necessary. - Essential knowledge of process management and standardization is required. - I need someone who can adapt to and implement change while interpreting requirements to deliver outcomes in line with the Firm’s policies. - Accuracy, timeliness, and consistency in work are crucial. - The ability to train and empower finance and other staff on Finance-related topics, including policies and systems is required. - Initiative and a commitment to a high standard of work are expected. - Proven stakeholder management abilities, with the capacity to work efficiently and effectively under pressure, are needed. - Candidates should be capable of building credibility, developing relationships, and effectively communicating with law firm management through both written and oral means.
