IT Engineer

- Provide extensive on-site support, acting as the primary technical resource during customer visits. - Conduct regular scheduled and reactive site visits to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues that cannot be handled remotely. - Perform full on-site system reviews, including workstation, server, and network health checks. - Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, networking hardware, and peripherals during site deployments. - Carry out on-site network troubleshooting, including cabling checks, switch configuration, Wi-Fi optimisation, and fault isolation. - Support customer office moves, on-site equipment rollouts, and infrastructure upgrades. - Provide remote support for hardware, software, and network issues when not on-site. - Collaborate with vendors to identify issues and implement fixes. - Conduct regular system maintenance tasks such as backups, restores, updates, and physical server checks. - Manage and maintain infrastructure including Windows Server, Windows OS, Azure AD, Active Directory, and Office 365 environments. - Document and track all support activities using our clients ticketing system. - Assist with bespoke software installations and updates. - Support the resolution of network-related issues including VPN, LAN, DNS, and firewall troubleshooting. - Work closely with team members to deliver IT and telephony technical solutions. - Participate in out-of-hours maintenance windows (e.g., server updates, project rollouts) where required.
