Network Engineer

- We are looking for a Network Engineer with strong ICT support skills to help us maintain high-quality learning facilities in our school. - You should possess the ability to work independently and potentially take on leadership responsibilities as the second in command to the Network Manager. - You must have experience in maintaining specialist equipment, conducting quality and safety checks, and performing necessary repairs or modifications. - Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for conveying technical information appropriately to various audiences. - A crucial part of your role will involve implementing agreed work programs under the guidance of senior staff and managing stock within a budget, including resource cataloging and audits. - You will need to perform disk space, backup, and event log checks, as well as manage Cluster Shared Volume and Shared Storage for Hypervisors. - Technical expertise in monitoring helpdesk activities, resolving tickets, setting up and maintaining Windows server environments, troubleshooting network and switch management, and configuring software and hardware is required. - Familiarity with Mobile Device Management in Apple environments, maintenance of user accounts, and network monitoring reports will be beneficial.
