As a potential candidate for the Lead Technical Architect position, we expect you to have demonstrable experience in overseeing enterprise-level system implementations within complex organizational environments. We are looking for someone who has a proven ability to engage effectively with business representatives and senior stakeholders. You should have experience leading the technical aspects of large-scale projects, including risk mitigation and stakeholder engagement. A solid technical foundation with a deep understanding of the systems development life-cycle is essential, along with the complexities that arise from initial concept through to delivery and support.
In addition, you will bring:
- Experience leading cross-functional teams or contributing to enterprise-wide IT strategies.
- An aptitude for problem-solving, with knowledge of problem-solving methodologies.
- The ability to analyze complex problems, facilitate workshops, and produce clear architectural designs from conceptual to detailed levels.
- Proven communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
In the role of Lead Technical Architect, you will be responsible for guiding the IT technical implementation of our new student records system. Your duties will include:
- Leading the technical architecture design, which encompasses system integration, data models, security protocols, and infrastructure.
- Providing technical and strategic direction across systems that are within or integrated with the student records program.
- Overseeing the migration of legacy data, ensuring data integrity, minimal disruption, and adherence to data protection regulations.
- Producing and delivering presentations, reports, and other documentation regarding digital solutions and strategies.
- Managing, developing, and supporting your team, while promoting initiatives that foster continuous professional growth.
