Requirements
Must:
- MOD security clearance or willingness to undergo Security Clearance to SC level
- Experience within security assurance and/or cyber risk
- Knowledge of industry standards and cyber security/risk
- Background knowledge of naval or maritime operations (advantageous)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to follow established processes
- Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft applications
Responsibilities
- Serve as a central focal point for managing security elements across both fixed and deployed Royal Navy capabilities
- Prioritize existing and new security requirements against Royal Navy top-level objectives
- Allocate suitable qualified personnel from a central security service function to Navy Digital projects
- Manage resources against demand for the security service within the Royal Navy
- Oversee and coordinate planning for all through-life security activities across Navy Digital delivery and programmes
- Develop accreditation and assurance strategies for complex security requirements in the maritime environment
- Produce key Information Assurance deliverables for Navy Digital customers and stakeholders
- Provide security support to facilitate rapid development and delivery of Navy Digital software and hardware
- Identify, report, and escalate cyber risks across Navy Digital and the Royal Navy
- Interface between Navy Digital projects and MoD Information Assurance stakeholders
- Adapt to future changes in security requirements and Information Assurance approaches
- Assist in implementing technical, physical, and procedural security controls in accordance with MOD policy
