OVERVIEW We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer working as a part of the team responsible for development of the contextual product that is used to derive meaning from web pages and link that meaning to search data. Search on its own is a highly complex data-set. Have practical experience with developing and maintaining distributed systems. Experience with Scala and Python, or deep knowledge of one of the above with desire to learn the other. Experience with asynchronous network I/O. Experience with Kafka, Spark. Proactive self-starter who takes ownership and is able to drive the project and mentor team members, good team player.
