Requirements
Must:
- I have strong experience in developing and deploying deep learning models, especially for sequential data (e.g., time series, language) using techniques such as LSTMs or transformers.
- I have a proven track record in leading model development, which includes setting the technical direction, project management, stakeholder communication, and mentoring junior team members.
- I am experienced in producing and managing reliable and maintainable code in Python within a team setting, including conducting code reviews and establishing software engineering best practices.
- I possess hands-on experience with modern Machine/Deep Learning frameworks, such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face Transformers.
- I am familiar with both pre-training and fine-tuning of large-scale models.
- I have experience working with structured and unstructured data, including text, logs, or time series, as well as familiarity with tokenization techniques.
- I have a strong understanding of probability, statistics, and machine learning, along with experience manipulating large data sets.
- I am driven for continued learning through internal and external avenues, with an ability to prototype new techniques to assess value.
Responsibilities
- I will lead the development of new deep learning approaches to advance our current underwriting models, which are central to our lending business. I apply innovative techniques to new types of multi-modal data.
- I prioritize and own the roadmap for this work, balancing R&D with in-market results, and drive ideas from prototypes to production.
- I provide consultancy to our tech and product partners to help design, develop, and launch products powered by Large Language Models (LLMs), ensuring seamless customer experiences.
- I utilize a combination of business acumen, coding, and statistical skills to navigate large amounts of data and extract actionable solutions.
- I work cross-functionally on projects that support key business initiatives and drive sustainable growth.
