Requirements
Must:
- Experience with Windows in a 1st and 2nd line support capacity
- Experience with VMWare
- Ideally, experience with Azure and Unix
- Basic understanding of IP network, IP addresses, network devices and their roles
- Eligibility for Security Clearance
- Previous experience working in a 24x7 shift environment would be beneficial
Responsibilities
- Providing L1 systems support for servers running Windows 2008/2012/2016/2019
- Carrying out regular operating system changes
- Providing 1st line support for applications (web portals, IIS)
- Reacting to client-logged incidents and requests through Remedy
- Customer support experience with a basic IT technical understanding
- Creating templates/clones and creating/deleting snapshots
- Coordinating with 3rd party vendors for visits and troubleshooting
- Assisting the team with daily backup failures and system recovery with backups
- Reviewing application logs for troubleshooting
- Managing and troubleshooting Exchange 2003/2010/2013/Office365
