Requirements
Must:
- Experience with Windows in a 1st and 2nd line support capacity
- Experience with VMWare
- Ideally, experience with Azure and Unix
- Basic understanding of IP network, IP address, network devices and their role
- Eligibility for Security Clearance
- Previous experience of working in a 24x7 shift environment would be beneficial
Responsibilities
- Providing L1 systems support for servers running Windows
- Carrying out regular operating system changes
- Providing 1st line support for applications (web portals, IIS)
- Reacting to client logged incidents and requests through Remedy
- Customer support experience with a basic IT technical understanding
- Creating templates/clones, creating/deleting snapshots
- Coordinating with 3rd party vendors for visits and troubleshooting
- Assisting the team with daily backup failures and system recovery with backups
- Reviewing application logs
- Exchange/Office365 management and troubleshooting, knowledge on archival solutions
