Requirements
Must:
- Active SC Clearance is essential
- Must have experience with AWS Cloud Formation or Terraform
- Strong Linux administration skills
- Familiarity with Nginx
- Proficient with collaboration tools such as Git, Jira, and Confluence
- Experience with Kubernetes (including Helm)
- Knowledge of Docker
- Proficient with Hashicorp tools (Packer, Consul, Vault, etc.)
- Experience with Jenkins
- Ability to work within an agile context utilizing continuous improvement (CI)
- Capability to articulate logical designs and understand their translation to physical infrastructure
- Experience in defining and working with the constraints of Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) such as cost, scalability, and availability
Responsibilities
- Design and build infrastructure using AWS technologies
- Manage and maintain deployment processes with tools like Jenkins and Docker
- Implement and maintain Kubernetes clusters and applications
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure continuous integration and delivery
- Monitor infrastructure performance and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Participate in agile development processes and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives
- Ensure compliance with security protocols and standards
Description
We are looking for a talented DevOps Engineer for a contract position lasting six months, working remotely. The rate for this role is up to £552.83 per day through an umbrella, and all applicants will be reviewed against the required skills and experience.
