Must:
We require candidates to possess 5-10 years of cybersecurity experience, specifically focusing on cloud technologies and architectures. You should have proven expertise in AWS security and excellent communication skills that enable effective training and collaboration. A strong understanding of generative AI, its security implications, and risk management of AI-related risks is essential. Additionally, a good working knowledge of industry cybersecurity frameworks is necessary.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will assess and enhance the security of cloud technologies and architectures. You will provide expert guidance on AWS security best practices and train DevOps/DevSecOps teams on robust, repeatable security practices. You will also implement security measures for generative AI applications and contribute to the effective implementation of industry cybersecurity frameworks and best practices for the program. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain a secure cloud and AI infrastructure environment will be a key aspect of your responsibilities.
Description
This is a 6-month contract position based in Glasgow with hybrid working options. We offer a pay rate of £400 - £410 per day via Umbrella. Desired qualifications include relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified Security or CISSP, experience in securing the cloud for DevSecOps, DevSecOps experience, and one or more relevant cybersecurity qualifications. A working knowledge of the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) is also beneficial.
We’re looking for someone who is a team player, has strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and is passionate about cybersecurity, AI, and cloud technologies. Good communication skills and experience in training colleagues will be advantageous.
