Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of Java development in financial services
- 2+ years hands-on with ICON Payment Framework (IPF)
- Strong understanding of payment processing, messaging standards (SWIFT, ISO 20022, SEPA, CHAPS, FPS) and clearing/settlement flows
- Experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, JMS, SQL/Oracle
- Exposure to CI/CD, Git, Jira, and Agile delivery
- Strong problem-solving ability and comfort working in a regulated environment
Responsibilities
- Design and develop IPF components and Java services for payment processing
- Extend IPF modules to meet business and regulatory needs
- Integrate ICON with upstream/downstream systems, e.g., core banking, fraud/AML, SWIFT, SEPA, FPS, CHAPS
- Work across the full SDLC from requirements to deployment and support
- Write clean, well-documented code aligned to agreed standards
- Own unit and integration tests, support UAT, and production releases
- Partner with BAs, Solution Architects, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-quality outcomes
- Provide L3 support for ICON and payment processing incidents
- Contribute in code reviews, design discussions, and technical workshops
- Deliver solutions that comply with security, risk, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., PSD2, ISO 20022)
- Maintain technical documentation and share knowledge across teams
