We expect strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs. You should have over 3 years of hands-on experience with Apigee Edge or Apigee X, along with familiarity with API security standards like OAuth and JWT. It’s important for you to have experience with CI/CD tools such as Git and Jenkins. A good understanding of JSON, XML, and HTTP/HTTPS protocols is essential, as well as experience with API testing and troubleshooting tools like Postman and Splunk.

Responsibilities
You will design and implement RESTful APIs using Java, including frameworks like Spring Boot, JAX-RS, and Hibernate. Your role involves developing API proxies, policies, and shared flows in Apigee, as well as integrating backend microservices with the Apigee API Gateway. Ensuring API security through OAuth2, JWT, and API Keys will be your responsibility. You will monitor and optimize API performance and scalability, collaborate with cross-functional teams for API lifecycle management, troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues, and document API designs, configurations, and development processes.
