Requirements
Must:
- Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Certified Master Architect (CMA)
- Direct ServiceNow implementation experience (ITSM as a minimum)
- Broad experience in enterprise technology design and implementation
- Deep platform capability including integrations, APIs, Java/JavaScript, infrastructure
- Architect-level cloud knowledge (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- ITIL V4 certification
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Active or previous SC Clearance and UK citizenship
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of a new ServiceNow practice, frameworks, and delivery standards
- Build the technical foundation of the ServiceNow practice (architecture, frameworks, governance, roadmaps)
- Oversee end-to-end technical delivery across complex programmes
- Translate requirements into scalable architecture aligned with best practices
- Act as the technical design authority across ITSM and wider ServiceNow modules
- Coach and mentor technical teams, establishing long-term standards
- Contribute to implementation methodologies and reusable market offerings
- Work within Agile/Scrum teams and ensure compliance (ISO 27007, SOC 2, HIPAA)

We are looking for a ServiceNow Principal Architect who is eager to build something from the ground up. This role allows you to define standards, own architectural direction, and lay the technical foundations of a brand-new practice. Join our global consultancy, which is currently renowned for its excellence in BMC, and help us establish a new ServiceNow capability. As the technical leader, you will shape the blueprint, create governance and delivery frameworks, and set the platform strategy for future teams. You'll mentor consultants, guide senior stakeholders, and ensure best practices from day one. You'll typically spend two days per week in our London office, with flexibility available for national candidates. We offer a competitive package, up to £150,000. This is your chance to influence future service offerings and technical accelerators in a consultancy that is investing heavily in its ServiceNow capability.
