Requirements
Must:
- A degree in humanities or social sciences is advantageous
- Excellent organisational and analytical skills
- A methodical approach to working
- Strong communication skills with a keen eye for detail
- 5 years UK residency due to the nature of the role
Responsibilities
- Running manual test cases and accurately recording results to identify defects
- Writing test scripts, specifications, and detailed bug reports using tools such as Jira/Azure
- Performing hands-on functional, regression, and exploratory testing across web, mobile, and desktop platforms
- Participating in triage meetings to prioritise bugs and verifying fixes once resolved by the development team
- Maintaining test evidence packs and updating regression suites as product features evolve
- Identifying business needs and problems
- Drafting key project artefacts, including Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs)
- Creating visual diagrams to represent business operations
- Using tools like Excel and SQL to find patterns to inform strategic decisions
- Assisting with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet original requirements
- Assisting in maintaining project plans and logs, ensuring adherence to PMO methodology
- Creating, updating, and distributing progress reports for senior management
- Tracking resource capacity and assisting with budget tracking
Description
We are a major UK professional services company looking to welcome a Junior Project Analyst to our UK project team. In this remote role, you will receive full training and IT equipment as you develop your skills across three key roles: Business Analyst, Test Analyst, and PMO Analyst, supporting various client programmes within regulated market sectors.
