Requirements
Must:
- Previous experience operating at senior information security leadership level
- Strong knowledge of frameworks such as ISO27001/2, COBIT, and PCI DSS
- Extensive understanding of IT security technologies, architectures, and governance
- Experience within highly regulated environments, ideally financial services (FCA/PRA)
- Proven track record of developing and delivering security strategies and programmes

Description
We are a large UK retail bank seeking a Chief Information Security Officer to join our team. This high-impact role offers direct access to Board-level decision making, ownership of group-wide strategy, and an opportunity to shape governance, controls, and security culture. You will have leadership responsibilities across an established function and gain exposure to regulatory frameworks and enterprise-wide transformation. Our working hours are standard Monday to Friday with 50% office-based presence.
