Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates who have at least 5 years of practical experience leading a team of security analysts. You should be adept at operating in a fast-paced, global security operations environment, demonstrating diligence, great attention to detail, and the ability to manage pressure and shifting priorities. Proven skills in working independently to resolve complex issues, with assistance from the Information Security Manager, IT, and DevSecOps, are essential.
You must possess excellent knowledge of the Threat Landscape, Threat Hunting, Adversary Methodologies, and Cyber Defense, particularly within the context of the MITRE attack framework. We require significant experience in a lead role within security areas such as NSOC Analyst or Threat Analyst, including the ability to create operational guidelines and procedures.
Familiarity with tools like the Fortinet Suite, AWS SecurityHub, AWS Inspector, FortiAnalyzer, DataDog, or similar is necessary. You should also be capable of scripting in Python to handle OS, file, and security operations requirements and have a good knowledge of vulnerabilities in both Linux and Windows OS, as well as 3rd party libraries used in software development. Strong communication and documentation skills, alongside organizational capabilities, are needed for driving processes and procedures.
Responsibilities
As a member of our Information Security Team, you will ensure that proper monitoring and response plans are implemented for both corporate (Fortinet) and customer (AWS) environments. This will enable a timely and effective response to incidents, alarms, notifications, calls, and other activities associated with the NSOC and emerging cyber threats. You will lead the vulnerability management process to ensure that vulnerabilities are detected, escalated, and remediated for both customer and corporate environments.
You will also be responsible for leading the Threat Intelligence process, documenting and reporting findings to key stakeholders. Collaboration with Engineering, DevSecOps, Software, and IT teams will be crucial as you identify and patch vulnerabilities. Additionally, you will develop processes, procedures, and playbooks to enhance the operational effectiveness of the vulnerability management process. Analyzing lessons learned will be part of your role, producing thorough documentation on complex incidents to outline improvements for processes, playbooks, and tooling. Furthermore, you will define and implement the NSOC roadmap and monitoring strategy.
