Requirements
Must:
- Experience in administrative, organisational, and technical support within a professional office environment, preferably quality assured.
- Competence in the use of Microsoft Office programs, SharePoint, and data management systems.
- Strong team player capable of building effective relationships.
- Preferably experience managing technical records, such as drawings and reports.
- An office administration or business qualification and related experience in a relevant role is preferred.
- Flexible approach to work, with occasional evening or weekend commitments possible.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and organisational support to the Harbour Assets Team.
- Assist in the transition to a new SharePoint records management environment.
- Review documents such as reports, drawings, and project information, including data migration and records management.
- Create and maintain asset records, performing tasks like data entry, document control, and records management.
- Act as a Super User for the departmental SharePoint site, creating folders and reviewing data archives.
- Document processes, ensuring they are updated, and reflect any system changes.
- Collaborate with colleagues in CalMac by providing necessary information and documents.

At Caledonian Maritime Assets Limited (CMAL), we own the vessels and harbour infrastructure essential for vital ferry services throughout Scotland, with ambitions to enhance the ferry network. We seek an enthusiastic and innovative individual to join our Harbour Assets Team on a fixed-term 15-month contract as an Asset Administrator. You will work in a rewarding environment, supported by a dedicated team, with opportunities for personal and professional development. Our office is located on the Clyde Estuary in Port Glasgow, with flexible remote working options available.
