Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 5 years of experience, with at least 3 years in a 3rd Line Support Engineer/Infrastructure & Network role. You should have at least 2 years of IT experience specifically within a contact center environment. Excellent skills in Microsoft administration are essential, including proficiency in Azure AD, Intune, O365, Entra, Exchange, and SharePoint. Additionally, you must have strong knowledge of infrastructure components such as Networking, Server platforms, storage, application structure (2-tier, 3-tier), Identity, Security (Encryption, PKI), and load balancing. Experience in administration and troubleshooting within Office 365, Azure, Active Directory, Intune, and Entra is also required. Familiarity with managing large application estates running IIS and SQL, as well as using configuration management and application monitoring tools, is crucial. We value strong and demonstrable experience in migrating workloads to cloud platforms.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for providing 3rd line technical support across our IT Infrastructure environment, including cloud technologies and telephony networks. You will handle day-to-day support and troubleshooting of issues within our company's infrastructure network services while ensuring that all incidents, problems, and requests are progressed and updated through to completion. Additionally, you will design, deploy, and maintain scalable and secure infrastructure solutions within our contact center environment. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop and implement network policies, procedures, and best practices will also be a key part of your role.
Description
This position is based onsite in Glasgow and offers a salary of up to £55,000, depending on experience. To be eligible for this role, you must be a UK Citizen or have Indefinite Leave to Remain. You will play a crucial role in supporting our first and second line support teams and ensuring the ongoing maintenance of our on-premise and cloud-hosted environments on a business-as-usual basis, all while working to agreed service level agreements (SLAs) within an ITIL environment.
