Requirements
Must:
- I am looking for candidates with previous experience as an IBM System i / Power i / IBM i / i Series Operations Technical Consultant, showcasing excellence in Power I (IBMi, System i, iSeries) systems support and management.
- Candidates should be familiar with IBM i OS (i-Series IBMi Power I AS/400), BRMS, Work Management, and Performance Management.
- You should possess skills in solving technically challenging problems involving Power i-based application issues.
- A willingness to cross-train and build on your current skills into an IT Security operations role is essential.
Responsibilities
- In this role, you will deliver our IT Defence offering/service for IBM Power and Storage clients.
- You will be based in our Security Operations Centre (SOC) and utilize IBM Native tools on both the Power and Storage platforms to maintain IT security services.
- The training scope will cover IBM Power SC for Power 9, 10, and 11, Storage Defender and Insights, and the use of a SIEM agent for reporting.
