Requirements
Must:
- Relevant qualification in law or equivalent legal experience
- Experience in handling fast-track Employers Liability and Public Liability personal injury claims
- Strong analytical skills for assessing liability, causation, and quantum
- Ability to conduct detailed investigations and review key evidence
- Proficient in drafting legal documentation such as pleadings and settlement documents
- Excellent negotiation skills to achieve the best client outcomes
- Strong communication skills to maintain effective client relationships
- Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and meet procedural requirements
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of claimant fast-track EL/PL personal injury claims
- Progress matters from instruction to settlement or litigation
- Analyze liability, causation, and quantum for each case
- Conduct detailed investigations and review evidence, including medical reports and witness statements
- Draft legal documentation, including pleadings and settlement letters
- Negotiate proactively with third parties for client outcomes
- Secure interim payments where applicable
- Identify litigation opportunities to advance claims
- Ensure regular communication with clients and manage their expectations throughout the case lifecycle
