We are looking for a Data Centre Infrastructure Engineer who has a demonstrable track record in Data Centre and Critical Systems environments, supporting technical projects. You should possess strong knowledge of structured cabling (fibre and copper) and telco infrastructure, as well as an understanding of critical IT hardware, networks, storage, and Data Centre security environments. Experience using design software such as AutoCAD, Visio, or Google Lucid is essential. Additionally, familiarity with Data Centre industry standards (e.g., BICSI) and any associated Data Centre certifications (e.g., DCMP, CCNP - Data Centre) would be advantageous.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will support key technical Data Centre initiatives, including Data Centre infrastructure buildouts, network migrations, and the installation of hardware and trunking. You will also be responsible for producing supporting technical documentation and providing support for power distribution and HVAC systems (ventilation/cooling). Furthermore, you will assist with Data Centre design projects.

Description
This position is a long-term contract with the potential to convert to a full-time role, based on-site in North Yorkshire. The work pattern is shift-based, with a schedule of 4 days on and 4 days off, and falls under the Inside IR35 determination. We offer market rates, approximately £350 per day, and are looking to fill this role urgently.
