Requirements
Must:
- At least 3 years experience in a similar position
- Experience in the understanding of supplier contracts
- Experience in dealing with and influencing multi-tier management
- Proven track record of work experience in a challenging commercial environment
- Experience in technical product evaluation
- A willingness to learn and become the subject matter expert in Technology Sourcing
- Demonstrates strong product technical skills
- Ability to work accurately under pressure
- A proactive communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Commercially astute or comparable qualification
Responsibilities
- Advise the business and customers on the right products for their requirements at the right price
- Provide product evaluation to enhance competitiveness and win rate
- Facilitate technical evaluation of products for customers via consultancy and lab services
- Use Computacenter IP and third-party tools for commercial benchmarking
- Provide platform agnostic high-level technical expertise
- Offer multi-vendor device options to maintain product margins
- Engage internationally to meet customer contractual obligations
- Deliver accurate and updated product information to support international contracts
- Provide early visibility of product changes and roadmaps
- Act as a point of escalation for complex technology sourcing requirements
- Liaise with colleagues to ensure best practice adoption
- Establish productive relationships with Senior Management
- Support customers environmental agenda through sustainability reporting
- Contribute to business strategy for growth in line with GTS targets
- Achieve high customer satisfaction levels
- Effectively cascade and deliver objectives
- Build strong relationships with named suppliers
- Work across multiple geographies to support product lifecycle processes
