Requirements
Must:
- At least 3 years experience in a similar position
- Experience in the understanding of supplier contracts
- Experience in dealing with and influencing multi-tier management
- Proven track record of work experience in a challenging commercial environment
- Experience in technical product evaluation and collaboration with partners
- Willingness to learn and become a subject matter expert in Technology Sourcing
- Strong product technical skills and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Proactive communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Commercially astute or relevant qualification
Responsibilities
- Advise the business and customers on appropriate products at the right price and associated risks
- Provide consistent product evaluation to increase competitiveness and win rates
- Facilitate technical evaluation of products through various services
- Use Computacenter IP and market trends for commercial benchmarking
- Provide technical expertise across multiple platforms (WinOS, MacOS, ChromeOS)
- Offer multi-vendor device options to maintain product margins
- Engage internationally to meet contractual obligations
- Deliver accurate product information for seamless contract delivery
- Provide early visibility on product changes and roadmaps
- Act as a point of escalation on complex technology sourcing needs
- Liaise with colleagues to ensure adoption of best practices
- Establish and maintain relationships at Senior Management level
- Support customers sustainability initiatives in partnership with vendors
- Contribute to business strategy to align with GTS targets
- Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction
- Cascade and deliver objectives effectively
- Understand contractual or commercial terms and negotiate accordingly
- Build strong relationships with suppliers
- Support product lifecycle processes across multiple geographies
