Requirements
Must:
- At least 3 years experience in a similar position
- Experience in understanding supplier contracts
- Experience in dealing with and influencing multi-tier management
- Proven track record of work experience in a challenging commercial environment
- Experience in technical product evaluation and willingness to work with partners
- Willingness to learn and become a subject matter expert in Technology Sourcing
- Strong product technical skills with the ability to work accurately under pressure
- Proactive communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Commercially astute with relevant experience or comparable qualification
Responsibilities
- Advise the business and customers on the right products for their requirements at the right price
- Provide product evaluation consistently to enhance competitiveness and profitability
- Facilitate technical evaluation of products via PS Consultancy, CC Labs, or LTS Technical Services
- Use market insights and third-party tools for commercial benchmarking at the device and component level
- Provide platform agnostic high-level technical expertise across multiple operating systems
- Offer multi-vendor device options and maintain product margins as per customer agreements
- Engage internationally to meet contractual obligations by liaising with partners and customers
- Deliver accurate and up-to-date product information for seamless contract delivery
- Provide early visibility of upcoming product changes and roadmaps
- Act as a point of escalation for complex technology sourcing product requirements
- Liaise with colleagues and stakeholders to promote best practices
- Establish and maintain productive relationships at Senior Management level
- Support customers environmental initiatives through sustainability reporting
- Contribute to business strategy to grow in line with GTS targets
- Achieve high customer satisfaction levels and effectively cascade objectives
- Negotiate contractual or commercial terms and build strong supplier relationships
- Support Group-wide product lifecycle processes across multiple geographies
