Must:
We require you to have the BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis, as we cannot accept alternatives or part qualifications. You'll need to be proficient in using SQL and/or JSON for data interrogation and problem-solving. Experience in contributing to delivery plans that support strategic aims and working on business/service improvements is essential. You should also have skills in mapping business processes and systems modeling, with the ability to mentor others in these areas. Building strong relationships with business teams and discussing requirements with diverse user groups is crucial, as is your ability to lead or manage other business analysts. Additionally, a strong communication skillset is necessary to clearly describe complex concepts to stakeholders across the organization.
Responsibilities
As our Lead Business Analyst, you'll be working across multiple agile scrum teams, collaborating with various professionals, including Agile Delivery Management, Product Management, User Centred Design, Project Management, Architecture, and Software Development. You will report to the Head of Business Analysis and contribute actively to the agile community at Companies House. Your role will include leading business analysis of projects within a service line, driving business improvements, training and mentoring other analysts, and influencing stakeholders organization-wide. You'll facilitate and provide analysis representation during squad activities and work with external partner scrums to ensure adherence to Companies House and Digital strategy. In addition, you will develop documentation strategies, establish relationships with key stakeholders, and use your business analysis experience to advise portfolios of work in line with the Companies House and Digital strategy.
