Requirements

- Currently studying towards a qualification in IT
- Good inter-personal skills for effective communication with users, colleagues, and suppliers
- Knowledge of different corporate IT systems used in a business
Responsibilities
- Assist the business support section within the IT department with day-to-day requests from end users through the helpdesk
- Carry out web updates as required
- Perform general IT admin tasks as needed
Description
We are offering a summer placement for students in IT Business Support located in Stornoway. This position offers 37 hours per week at a rate of £13.52 per hour, which includes a £1.55 Distant Islands Allowance. You will be a part of our IT department, assisting with various tasks that provide practical experience in a professional environment.
