Requirements
Must:
- Understanding of cleaning in a commercial/industrial environment
- Ability to manage a small team of cleaners
- Effective monitoring of team members performance
- Previous experience with stock control (ordering, receiving, and issuing)
- Membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme is required
Responsibilities
- Supervise cleaning staff and carry out cleaning duties at the school
- Monitor cleaning areas before, during, and after cleaning to ensure cleanliness standards are met
- Arrange training for new or temporary employees
- Monitor timekeeping of cleaning staff
- Undertake cleaning of designated areas to maintain a hygienic environment
Description
We are seeking a Cleaner in Charge for Sgoil Uibhist a Tuath, offering a permanent position of 17.5 hours per week during term time. The salary ranges from £11,978 to £12,096 per annum, inclusive of a £1,225 Distant Islands Allowance. This role involves supervising a small team of cleaners and performing cleaning tasks to ensure the school remains clean and tidy.
