- Familiarity with data science or analytics workflows (desirable)
- Experience supporting analyst-facing tools (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Design and develop a Python package to access public API endpoints
- Implement simple, reusable Python functions for querying APIs
- Create data cleaning, validation, and transformation utilities
- Ensure outputs are analysis-ready and consistent
- Write clear documentation, examples, and usage guides
- Produce production-quality code suitable for open-source or public distribution
- Package and publish the library to PyPI
Description
We are looking for a Python Developer to design and deliver a public-facing Python package that enables analysts and external users to interact with an applications public API. This package will be the Python equivalent of an existing R package and must be suitable for public release via PyPI. We value quality code, clear documentation, and a passion for providing tools that empower users.
